Tangalle Unmissables

Tangalle features a diverse landscape ranging from the Hummanaya Blow Hole, the second largest of its kind globally, to the protected nesting grounds of Rekawa Beach where five species of marine turtles lay eggs. The area is characterized by secluded sandy bays like Goyambokka and the calm swimming waters of Paravi Wella. Cultural sites include several historic Buddhist temples such as Henakaduwa Viharaya and Sri Subodharamaya, which showcase traditional Sri Lankan religious architecture and serene monastic grounds.
