Avrupa Nükleer Araştırma Merkez veya Fransızca adı olan Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire'in kısaltmasıyla CERN, İsviçre ve Fransa sınırında yer alan dünyanın en büyük parçacık fiziği laboratuvarıdır. 1954 yılında 12 ülkenin katılımıyla kurulmuş olan CERN'in günümüzde 21 tam üyesi ve 2 tam üyelik adayına ilaveten, 1 de ortak üyesi vardır.

Guided Tours:
CERN welcomes the pupils, students or general public and organizes guided tours. Depending on the size of your party, the following tours can be offered:
- Tours for pupils and students (minimum 12 participants and a maximum of 48 including teachers or accompagnying adults)
- Tours for groups (minimum 12 participants and a maximum of 48 including accompagnying persons)
- Tours for individuals and groups of maximum 11 participants
