Antequera Essentials

Antequera’s landscape is defined by the UNESCO-listed Antequera Dolmens Site, featuring the prehistoric Menga, Viera, and El Romeral megalithic tombs. The city’s history spans from these Bronze Age structures to the 14th-century Moorish Alcazaba, a fortress built atop Roman ruins.
