Parks and Natural Views

This collection highlights natural and landscaped sites in and around Avila. It includes the Embalse de Serones reservoir on the Voltoya River and the Laguna de Taeña wetlands. Within the urban area, the Jardín de las Tres Culturas commemorates the historical coexistence of Christian, Jewish, and Muslim communities near the city walls. The Parque de los Patos serves as a central green space featuring a large pond, while the Valpardo viewpoint overlooks the surrounding high plateau.

Valpardo

Elevated viewpoint overlooking the Castilian high plateau and the southern approaches to the city.

Serones

Reservoir situated on the Voltoya River that serves as a primary water source for the city of Avila.

Laguna de Taeña

Natural seasonal lagoon located in the countryside west of Avila, providing a habitat for local bird species.

Parque de los Patos

Also known as Parque de San Roque, this central green space features a large pond inhabited by ducks and swans, surrounded by shaded walking paths and play areas.
