Scenic Viewpoints and Peaks

This collection features the primary overlooks and geological landmarks along the Badlands Loop Road and Sage Creek Rim Road. These sites showcase the park's distinct erosion-carved spires, deep canyons, and expansive mixed-grass prairies. Key highlights include the vibrant, fossil-rich soils of the Yellow Mounds, the expansive vistas from Pinnacles Overlook, and the rugged, high-altitude terrain of Sheep Mountain Table. Visitors can observe the distinct sedimentary layers and geological history of the White River Badlands.

Homestead Overlook
