Maria Gern

Baroque pilgrimage church dating from the early 18th century. The interior is noted for its elaborate stucco work and frescoes, set against a prominent alpine backdrop.

Hilgerkapelle

Small Roman Catholic chapel located within the parish of Berchtesgaden.

Christuskirche

Completed in 1899, this Neo-Gothic structure is the first and only Evangelical-Lutheran church in the town, marking the introduction of Protestant worship to the region.

Kalvarienberg

A Way of the Cross established in 1760 on the Kälberstein hill. It consists of several stations and a chapel overlooking the town.

Franziskanerkirche

Gothic monastery church built around 1500. It features a late-Gothic ribbed vault and Baroque altars added during later centuries.
