Edmonton Theatres and Cinemas

Edmonton’s performing arts landscape spans from the brutalist architecture of the Citadel Theatre to the world-class acoustics of the Francis Winspear Centre for Music. The city preserves its cinematic history at the 1940s Garneau Theatre and the reconstructed Capitol Theatre at Fort Edmonton Park. Large-scale productions are hosted at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, while the Old Strathcona district supports amateur performance at the Walterdale Playhouse.
