Bridges of the Arno

From the medieval Ponte Vecchio to elegant Renaissance and modern crossings, Florence's bridges frame the river views.

Designed by Bartolomeo Ammannati in the 16th century, this historic stone crossing is the oldest elliptic arch bridge in the world.

Dating back to the 13th century, this crossing over the Arno was originally known as Ponte di Rubaconte and was once the longest bridge in Florence.

Le Ponte di San Niccolò est un des ponts de Florence sur l'Arno dans sa traversée de la ville et le plus au centre de Florence.
