Ancient Wonders of Luxor

This collection showcases the monumental architecture and funerary art of ancient Thebes. On the East Bank, the sprawling Karnak Temple Complex remains one of the largest religious sites ever built, dedicated primarily to the god Amun-Re. Crossing the Nile to the West Bank reveals the mortuary temples of Ramesses II and III, the terraced sanctuary of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, and the intricate royal tombs of the Valley of the Queens. The list also includes the well-preserved artisans' village of Deir el-Medina and several specialized New Kingdom shrines.
