Churches of Monterosso

Monterosso al Mare’s religious heritage spans from the 13th-century Gothic-Ligurian architecture of San Giovanni Battista to the 17th-century Capuchin monastery. This collection includes the Oratorio dei Neri, known for its Baroque mourning symbols, and the ancient Santuario di Nostra Signora di Soviore, the oldest sanctuary in Liguria. These sites showcase marble rose windows, historic artworks, and panoramic views from the hills surrounding the Cinque Terre's largest village.

Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista

Santuario di Nostra Signora di Soviore
