Scenic Parks and Viewpoints

Portland’s park system offers diverse landscapes from the historic heights of Fort Sumner Park to the waterfront expanse of the Eastern Promenade. Lincoln Park, established in 1866 as a firebreak, features a notable Victorian fountain. The Bayside and Back Cove trails provide dedicated paths for walking and cycling, connecting urban neighborhoods with views of Casco Bay and the city skyline.
