Redwood Camping & Backcountry

This collection features developed campgrounds and remote backcountry sites across Redwood National and State Parks. Developed sites like Jedediah Smith and Elk Prairie offer access to old-growth groves and wildlife viewing, while Gold Bluffs Beach provides coastal access near Fern Canyon. For solitude, backcountry camps such as Elam and 44 Camp require permits and hiking but provide immersive forest stays. These locations span from the Smith River in the north to the Redwood Creek drainage in the south.
