This collection features 19 significant stops along the 1,200-kilometer Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage. These Shingon Buddhist sites include Iwaya-ji, carved into a towering conglomerate rock face, and Yashima-ji, situated on a high volcanic plateau. The list spans the diverse landscapes of Kochi, Ehime, Tokushima, and Kagawa, showcasing historic wooden pagodas, ancient statues of Monju Bosatsu, and sacred sites established by the monk Kobo Daishi during the 9th century.
