Sokolov Essentials

Sokolov’s historical center is defined by its 13th-century castle, now a museum, and a series of religious landmarks including the Baroque Church of St. James the Greater and the Capuchin monastery with the Nostitz family crypt. The town’s layout incorporates 19th-century urban parks and the Hard lookout tower. Kostel sv. Mikuláše pod Krudumem

Archaeological site featuring the excavated foundations of a 13th-century Gothic church. It was rediscovered in the forest near Krudum mountain in 2002.
