Southern Sri Lanka’s landscape is defined by its intricate water systems, ranging from the ancient 3rd-century BC Tissa Wewa reservoir to the biodiverse RAMSAR wetlands of Bundala National Park. This collection features the region’s diverse aquatic environments, including the mangrove-lined estuaries of the Madu River and the natural rock slides at Patna. Visitors can explore the seven-tiered Hathmale Ella waterfall and the expansive Koggala Lake, known for its traditional cinnamon cultivation and secluded islands.
