Telč Essentials

Telč is defined by its triangular Zachariáš z Hradce Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site bordered by Renaissance and Baroque houses with interconnected arcades. The town’s architectural center is the 16th-century Telč Chateau, featuring well-preserved sgraffito decoration and ornate interiors. Surrounding the historic core are the Ulický, Štěpnický, and Staroměstský ponds, which once served as part of the town's defensive system.
