Tutong Essentials

Tutong District showcases Brunei's ecological diversity and cultural history. Tasek Merimbun, an ASEAN Heritage Park, is a unique S-shaped black water lake surrounded by peat swamp forest. Along the coast, Seri Kenangan Beach sits on a narrow spit between the Tutong River and the South China Sea. Tasek Merimbun

Brunei's largest lake and an ASEAN Heritage Park. The S-shaped lake is characterized by dark water caused by tannins from the surrounding peat swamp forest and features a wooden walkway leading to a central island.
