Religious Heritage

Xàtiva’s religious landscape is defined by the monumental Basílica de Santa María, a Renaissance and Baroque collegiate church built over a former mosque. The collection includes the 13th-century Sant Feliu, one of the oldest churches in the Valencian Community, and the Gothic-Mudéjar Sant Pere where Pope Alexander VI was baptized. Basílica Santa María La Seo
