Curitiba is defined by its extensive green urban planning and cultural heritage. This collection features Passeio Público, the city's oldest public garden, and Parque Barigui, a major social hub with a large lake and exhibition center. One of the city's largest parks, featuring a central lake known for its resident capybaras. It includes jogging tracks, an automobile museum, and an exhibition center.
Zoológico de Curitiba
A 530,000-square-meter zoo housing over 1,500 animals. Located in the Iguaçu Regional Park, it focuses on the conservation of Brazilian fauna.
Bacia do Rio Iguaçú
A wetland area and drainage basin located in the southern part of Curitiba, forming part of the Iguaçu River ecosystem.
