Curitiba Parks and Viewpoints

Curitiba is defined by its extensive green urban planning and cultural heritage. This collection features Passeio Público, the city's oldest public garden, and Parque Barigui, a major social hub with a large lake and exhibition center. Bosque do Papa

A memorial to Polish immigration containing seven original log cabins. The park was inaugurated in 1980 to commemorate the visit of Pope John Paul II.

Bosque Alemão

Bosque Alemão is a park built in Curitiba in honor of the German immigrants who begin to settle in the city in the early 19th century.

Parque Barigui

One of the city's largest parks, featuring a central lake known for its resident capybaras. It includes jogging tracks, an automobile museum, and an exhibition center.

Zoológico de Curitiba

A 530,000-square-meter zoo housing over 1,500 animals. Located in the Iguaçu Regional Park, it focuses on the conservation of Brazilian fauna.

Bacia do Rio Iguaçú

A wetland area and drainage basin located in the southern part of Curitiba, forming part of the Iguaçu River ecosystem.
