Curitiba is defined by its extensive green urban planning and cultural heritage. Zoológico de Curitiba
A 530,000-square-meter zoo housing over 1,500 animals. Located in the Iguaçu Regional Park, it focuses on the conservation of Brazilian fauna.
Bacia do Rio Iguaçú
A wetland area and drainage basin located in the southern part of Curitiba, forming part of the Iguaçu River ecosystem.
