Natural Wonders of Neuquén

Neuquén's landscape is defined by the high Andes and intense volcanic activity. This list includes the ice-capped Lanín volcano and Domuyo, the highest peak in Patagonia. Geothermal features like the Las Olletas geysers contrast with glacial elements such as El Bardón. Cascada Chachin

Located in Lanín National Park, this 30-meter waterfall is surrounded by dense Valdivian rainforest. A wooden boardwalk leads to a viewpoint overlooking the drop into the Chachín River.

Salto del Agrio

A 35-meter waterfall that plunges into a basaltic canyon. The surrounding rocks are characterized by vibrant orange and yellow hues caused by high concentrations of sulfur and minerals in the Agrio River.

Tromen

Tromen is a stratovolcano in western Argentina. It rises above the older caldera of the Volcán Negro del Tromen.

Los Cántaros
