Altai Peaks and Passes

The Altai Republic's landscape is defined by the high-altitude ranges of the Central and South Altai. This collection includes Belukha Mountain, the highest point in Siberia at 4,506 meters, and the steep Chike-Taman Pass on the Chuysky Trakt. Chike-Taman pass

A mountain pass at the 659-kilometer mark of the Chuysky Trakt. Reaching an elevation of 1,295 meters, the road features a steep four-kilometer ascent and descent with multiple hairpin turns and a designated observation deck.
