Altai Peaks and Passes

The Altai Republic's landscape is defined by the high-altitude ranges of the Central and South Altai. This collection includes Belukha Mountain, the highest point in Siberia at 4,506 meters, and the steep Chike-Taman Pass on the Chuysky Trakt. The list also features prominent summits of the North and South Chuya Ranges, such as Aktru and Iiktu, alongside the Malchin Peak on the Mongolian border. Chike-Taman pass

A mountain pass at the 659-kilometer mark of the Chuysky Trakt. Reaching an elevation of 1,295 meters, the road features a steep four-kilometer ascent and descent with multiple hairpin turns and a designated observation deck.
