Winter Sports & Alpine Huts

This selection features high-altitude ski resorts in the Aizu region and historic mountain lodges within Oze National Park. The ski areas include specialized terrains like the skiers-only slopes at Takahata and the expansive runs at Takatsue. Complementing these are traditional alpine huts such as Chozogoya and Ozenuma Hutte, which provide essential shelter and natural hot spring baths for hikers exploring the marshlands and volcanic landscapes of the Fukushima border.

栗子国際スキー＆リゾート

Ski resort located along Route 13 in Yonezawa. It offers a variety of trails across different elevations and is easily accessible via the Kuriko Tunnel.

会津高原たかつえスキー場

A major resort in Minamiaizu reaching an altitude of 1,500 meters. It features a 5-kilometer long run and dedicated areas for powder snow and moguls.

会津高原だいくらスキー場
