This selection features the 10th-century Monastery of Saint George perched above the white-washed Chora and the Bronze Age ruins of Palamari. The island’s coastline is represented by the wind-swept sands of Gyrismata, the cedar-lined shores of Agios Petros, and the sheltered bay of Pefkos. The list also includes the main port of Linaria and artisanal ice cream in the main town.
