Son Tra Peninsula Essentials

The Son Tra Peninsula, or Monkey Mountain, is a 4,439-hectare nature reserve overlooking Da Nang. It features the 67-meter tall Lady Buddha statue at Linh Ung Pagoda and the 800-year-old Heritage Banyan Tree. The area is the primary habitat for the endangered red-shanked douc langur. Key landmarks include the historic 1902 Tien Sa Lighthouse, the chess-themed Ban Co Peak, and secluded beaches like Bai Bac. Lady Buddha

Standing 67 meters tall, this white marble statue is the tallest Buddha figure in Vietnam. It is situated within the grounds of Linh Ung Pagoda and faces the sea.
