Stubai Alps Mountain Huts

The Stubai Alps feature a network of high-altitude mountain huts situated between 1,600 and 3,100 meters across the Austrian Tyrol and Italian South Tyrol. These Category I and II shelters, mostly managed by the German and Austrian Alpine Clubs, provide essential infrastructure for the Stubai High Trail. Many offer regional Tyrolean cuisine, dormitory and private room accommodations, and access to glaciers and peaks like the Zuckerhütl. Facilities often include showers, drying rooms, and Wi-fi, catering to long-distance hikers and mountaineers.
