Enclave Arqueológico Puerta de Almería

Aljibes Árabes Jairán s. XI

These 11th-century vaulted water cisterns were commissioned by King Jairán to supply the city. The hydraulic engineering feat consists of three interconnected chambers that once held over 600,000 liters of water.
