This collection spans centuries of Bodø's defensive and cultural history, from Iron Age burial mounds to 19th-century fortifications and World War II coastal batteries. It features Nyholmen skandse, built during the Napoleonic Wars to protect grain supplies, alongside numerous German-built installations from the Atlantic Wall.
