Historic Sites of Fez

Fez contains one of the world's best-preserved medieval cities, characterized by its UNESCO-listed Medina and Marinid-era architecture. Borj Nord

Borj Nord or Burj al-Shamal, Al-Burj ash-Shamali is a fort in the city of Fez, Morocco.

Another fortress built to watch over Fez. It is less visited than Borj Nord yet it is well worth visiting for its breath-taking views.

A 16th-century military tower commissioned by Sultan Ahmad al-Mansur. It stands on the hills south of Fes el Bali, providing a strategic vantage point overlooking the entire Medina.
