Built in order to commemorate victims of 9/11, this center gives you the unique opportunity to hear several personal stories about 9/11, see intriguing exhibitions, and take tours. There are many exhibits linked directly to the tragic events and also many texts and videos that reveal the personal stories of those who experienced the events, lost their loved ones or were otherwise touched by the tragedy of 9/11.
However, the exhibition also explores the healing process the city and its inhabitants went through after the tragical events and how the community managed to recover from what happened.
You can choose from several ways of exploring this centre - with audio tour, live guide, or just strolling on your own. There might be queues so consider buying your tickets online in advance.
Do not confuse this museum with the 9/11 Memorial Museum which is located elsewhere.
