George's Street Arcade

Local nameGeorge's Street Arcade
LocationDublin, Ireland

One of Europe's oldest shopping centres in the historical part of Dublin. This indoor market opened in 1881 and got rebuilt after the 1892 fire, which destroyed most of the building.

Nowadays, it houses 50 stalls selling a wide range of products including clothes, accessories, books, and food. If you decide to visit this establishment, you are going to see shops like Bombay Banshee (jewellery), Retro (vintage clothes), Body Station (body piercings and jewellery), Fitzgerald Art and Photography Gallery and much more. When you get tired, you can refresh yourself in one of the juiceries or restaurants on site.

It's a nice area to visit if you're within proximity. There is the George's St, Exchequer street bus station right next to the Street Arcade, lines 9, 14, 15, 16, 49, 65, 68, 83, 122, 140 and 142.
