Built in 1110 and restored many times, this tower on a small islet is a romantic spot, where you can watch the sunset while dining in the restaurant.
According to the legend, the tower was built for a daughter of an emperor. There was a prophecy that she would be killed by a snake, so her father sent her to this tower in order to protect her. Unfortunately, a venomous snake managed to sneak in the tower hidden in a basket of fruit and fulfilled the prophecy.
