Nationalmuseet is the starting place if you are a history lover and find yourself in Denmark. Being the largest museum of cultural history in the whole country, the exhibition will guide you through several thousand years of both Danish and foreign culture. Highlights of the collections include Golden Horns of Gallehus, Gundestrup cauldron, and a treetrunk coffin of the Egtved Girl.
Part of the national museum, The Children's Museum will welcome all kids that are eager to learn about cultural history in a funny and interactive way. They can try on various historical dresses, explore a Viking ship, or put on medieval riding boots.
