This palace, completed in 1760, is the official residence of the Swedish royal family. Built in Baroque style, this building contains more than 600 rooms. The beautiful complex holds royal apartments and three museums: Tre Kronor Museum, the Treasury and Gustav III's Museum of Antiquities. With its marvellous Italian-Baroque facade, Stockholm Palace is one of the most unique royal palaces in Europe.
If interested, you can take a tour of the royal palace, which will inform you about the history of this place and show you important parts of the huge complex, such as The Royal Apartments and The Treasury.
The Royal Apartments may close fully or partly in conjunction with official receptions of the royal family.
