The best-known observation deck in New York. It's located at the top of the Rockefeller Centre, one of the New York’s best-known skyscrapers. It offers a spectacular view of the city with all its icons (e.g. Empire State Building, Chrysler Building or the Central Park).
It was first opened to the public in 1933 but in 1986 it was closed again so the building could undergo a renovation process. The visitors returned to the deck in 2005 after the renovations were completed.
Thanks to the timed system there are shorter lines than e.g. in the Empire State Building. You can also buy your tickets online if you want to avoid getting in line for them.
The first elevator goes up at 8 am and the last elevator goes up at 11 pm.
