Annecy Heritage Sites

Annecy’s heritage spans from prehistoric lakeside settlements to medieval fortifications. Palais de l'Isle

This 12th-century fortified house sits on a rocky island in the Thiou canal. Throughout its history, it served as a lordly residence, a courthouse, and a prison. It now functions as a museum of local history and architecture.
