Quiché Essentials

Quiché serves as the cultural core of Guatemala's western highlands, preserving the legacy of the K'iche' Maya empire. Q'umarkaj

Qʼumarkaj is an archaeological site in the southwest of the El Quiché department of Guatemala.

Mercado de Chichicastenango
