Alpine Huts & Mountain Shelters
This collection features traditional mountain shelters and alpine huts situated across the Dachstein massif near Ramsau. Ranging from the Austriahütte at 1,638 meters to the high-altitude Guttenberghaus at 2,146 meters, these destinations serve as critical rest stops for hikers. Most huts offer regional Styrian cuisine, and several provide overnight accommodations with facilities like showers and Wi-fi. Many are positioned along key hiking trails, such as those leading to the Dachstein south face or through the Silberkar Gorge.
Austriahütte

Silberkarhütte
