Mallorca’s limestone landscape conceals a vast network of subterranean systems ranging from massive show caves to prehistoric burial sites. This selection includes the world-famous Drach Caves with its underground Lake Martel, the Bronze Age hypogeum of Cala Sant Vicenç, and the 14th-century quarry caves of Portals Vells. Visitors can explore diverse geological formations, including the fishhook-shaped stalactites of Coves dels Hams and the pristine white galleries of Campanet, discovered in 1945.

Cova de la Mare de Déu de Portals Vells

A massive natural chasm in the Serra de Tramuntana. Accessible through a 50-meter man-made tunnel, the cave features a cavernous main chamber with a collapsed roof that lets in natural light.
