Cat Island Essentials

Cat Island features the Bahamas' highest elevation at Mount Alvernia, topped by the hand-carved stone Hermitage built in 1939. Mount Alvernia

Mount Alvernia is located on Cat Island in the Bahamas and is the highest point in the country at 63 metres above sea level.

The Hermitage
