Ohrid’s archaeological landscape spans from prehistoric settlements to Byzantine masterpieces. This collection features the 200 BC Hellenistic theatre and the reconstructed Bay of Bones pile-dwelling settlement on Lake Ohrid. Religious history is preserved through the 11th-century frescoes of the Church of St. Sophia and the mosaics of Plaoshnik. Bay of Bones
