Bahla Fort A

Bahla Fort

A 13th-century mud-brick fortress and UNESCO World Heritage site. It features massive defensive walls, towers, and a mosque, illustrating the medieval power of the Banu Nebhan tribe.

Old Qalhat (archeological site)

UNESCO-listed archaeological site containing the ruins of a major 11th to 15th-century trading port. The Mausoleum of Bibi Maryam remains its most prominent standing structure.
