Sovata Essentials

Sovata is defined by its unique heliothermic lakes and rare salt karst formations. Bear Lake

Formed in 1875, this is the world's largest heliothermic lake. Its salt concentration and solar heat absorption create distinct thermal layers, with temperatures reaching peak levels a few meters below the surface.
