This selection of Dalmatian beaches spans from the shifting shingle spit of the Golden Horn on Brač to the rare sandy shores of Lovrečina, which houses 5th-century basilica ruins. Split's main beach and a major party spot with many clubs and bars. Well-equipped with many facilities and good for children.
Dubovica
Pebble beach set in a secluded cove on Hvar island, featuring a 17th-century noble manor house. It is accessible via a steep walking trail from the main road.
Murvica
Located on the southern slopes of Brač island, this pebble beach sits below a village of the same name and is situated near the Dragon’s Cave, which contains 15th-century relief carvings.
Srebrna Beach
Situated on Vis island, this beach is characterized by large, flat white pebbles that appear silver. It faces the open sea and remains largely undeveloped with no commercial facilities.
Lovrecina
A rare sandy beach on the northern coast of Brač island. It contains the archaeological remains of a 5th-century early Christian basilica located just meters from the shoreline.
