Stepanavan's Essential Journey

Stepanavan serves as a central hub for exploring the medieval heritage of Armenia's Lori Province. This collection features the 11th-century Lori Fortress, once the capital of the Tashir-Dzoraget Kingdom, and the 6th-century St. George Church in Sverdlov. Natural highlights include the Sochut Dendropark, Armenia’s first botanical garden founded in 1933, and the Hnevank Monastery complex overlooking the Dzoraget River.
