Nationalpark Thy Essentials

Nationalpark Thy, Denmark's first national park, spans 244 square kilometers of wind-swept wilderness along the Jutland coast. This selection features maritime landmarks like the 60-meter Hanstholm Lighthouse and the granite Lodbjerg Fyr. Hanstholm Lighthouse

Adjacent to an important port, it holds Denmark's most powerful lighthouse lamp. 60 meters high - a great vantage point.

Lodbjerg fyr

Built in 1883 from granite blocks, this 35-meter-high lighthouse offers panoramic views of the North Sea and surrounding dune heath.

Vorupør Strand

A historic landing site where fishing boats are still hauled onto the sand. It features Denmark’s first sea bath, providing a protected swimming area.

Vorupør Mole

This 310-meter-long pier protects the local fishing landing site and provides a walkway extending deep into the North Sea.

Agger Tange

Agger Tange is a peninsula located between the Limfjord and the North Sea.

View Point
