Yellowstone Scenic Vistas

Yellowstone’s diverse geology is best observed from these designated vantage points. The list includes the iconic Artist Point and Inspiration Point, which showcase the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and its 308-foot Lower Falls. Higher elevations like Mount Washburn provide panoramic views of the park’s caldera, while Roaring Mountain highlights hydrothermal activity through hissing fumaroles. These sites offer perspectives on the park’s volcanic history, basalt columns at Calcite Springs, and the predictable eruptions of Old Faithful from Observation Point.
