Norway’s history is preserved through diverse sites ranging from the 12th-century Borgund Stave Church to the modern, Sverre Fehn-designed Norwegian Glacier Museum. This collection spans medieval Cistercian ruins on Hovedøya and the specialized Bergen Leprosy Museum, once the world’s center for leprosy research.
